Hi there,
This is form of a final resort. Apologies if this is simply not the proper place due to this thread but it seemed the best compared to all the relaxation.
I were trying to track down a provider called Temple Bar Abroad, but all I try can be a dead finish. I' ve called every one of the numbers I can track lower, they all move through to randomly answering services. I' ve mailed off emails to any or all the addresses I can find, each of them get made a comeback with mail delivery mistakes. I' ve even searched info concerning LinkedIn and even though I can see the business details plus all workers', it' s impossible to produce contact.
I' ve been looking to sort the out frequent and I wish to know how i can record them down or perhaps find out if they are authentic. Their website can be a complete joke plus the whois seek out says they may have not complied while using the legal get hold of requirements for the domain. It likewise says on the site they are not regulated because of the FSA (yes, extremely dodgy).
You should help. thank you. Reply: Being some sort of non-UK company liability depends on the laws of your country there're operating through. Organising a court situation from abroad is just not something I would like to take upon, and Perhaps for this reason almost most of the scam companies don' t create in precisely the same country for the reason that people they are targeting (not i think the scam might be involved here).
Too late to suit your needs now but only was a powerful expat I will only manage big titles for your savings and even investments.
Is it possible to call its Sales numbers? If it truly is an answerphone leave a message as you are a brand new customer to cause them to call most people back. Companies similar to this tend to still eagerly answer marketing enquires even while being entirely disinterested within after marketing service.
All the best.
Reply: Yup, sounds exactly like them. It' s odd that there is absolutely no information during this place. What little info Possible check out the employees suggested actually NOT trained to recommend people concerning important finance decisions.
I have were able to track downward the person who accounts for this screw but considering he no longer works due to this place, he's absolved himself coming from all responsibility. He could be living them up in South Africa, working to get another finance company.
If that Temple Clubhouse place is a lot like some sort of umbrella investment setup, would the average person be held responsible for the mess they have caused?
Reply: Unlike usual scam operations they have been around for many years. They are most often aimed during ex-pats in case they are not conducting business in great britain there's no need for them how to be registered when using the FSA. I have the impression these are heavily marketing orientated taking up staff without the need of financial information to freezing call customers to make appointments along with advisors. That will put everybody off in a very big approach but would not necesarily mean there're not straight (as long as they are not really cold labelling people within the UK).
Remorseful, I can' t allow you to with call details beyond what we have definitely found.
.
Best Answer:Hmm this is a tricky one… Often when alarm bells ring your instincts are right, personally I'd be very wary of job offers which are completely commission based – as these jobs are often scams with high turnovers. I'd be especially wary of a company which both offers a commission based only role and is aimed specifically at expats.
Also, it seems a bit suspicious for a company to offer you a position without conducting a personal interview with you.
Sorry my answer is not very optimistic, but I wanted to give my honest opinion – hope it helps
